Utility Solutions Partners, LLC (USP) is pleased to announce the successful upgrades of the Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing System and Meter Data Management System at Avista Utilities (Avista). These products are part of Avista’s multi-instance implementation of Oracle Utilities Customer-to-Meter (C2M) platform.
Avista has been working with USP since March 2015, utilizing technical services for Avista’s Oracle Utilities applications. When it came time to upgrade, Avista turned to USP for guidance, direction, and, ultimately, support services for their upgrade project. Starting in August 2019, the USP team supported the upgrades of the Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing system from version 2.4.0.3 to version 2.7.0.3, Meter Data Management, Service Order Management, and Smart Grid Gateway from version 2.1.0.3 to version 2.3.0.2, and Oracle’s Service Oriented Architecture Middleware from version 11.1.1.7 to version 12.2.1.3.
Recently, Avista partnered with USP on a successful go-live weekend. Even in the midst of a pandemic, the team was able to achieve a successful upgrade ahead of the original schedule.
