City of Long Beach selects USP for a three year managed services engagement
USP is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the City of Long Beach to provide managed services to maintain, extend and integrate Oracle’s Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) products.
The Technology and Innovation Department (TIO), Long Beach Gas & Oil Department (LBGO), Long Beach Water Department(LBWD), Environmental Services Bureau (ESB), and Department of Financial Management (FM) all participated in a several month process to review and evaluate qualified vendor partners.
USP presented its qualifications, was interviewed and ultimately selected based on its:
- Demonstrated competence
- Experience in performance of comparable engagements
- Expertise and availability of key personnel
- Financial stability
- Conformance with the terms of the RFP
- An assessment of cost over five years
The engagement kicks off on October 1, 2017 and continues for a three year term with options to renew for two additional one-year terms.
